NOTICE is hereby given that Nominations for the following office will be accepted by the municipal clerk:

may be made by completing and filing in the office of the Clerk, nominations on the prescribed form and accompanied by the prescribed filing fee of $200 for the Head of Council and $100 for all other offices. The filing fee is only payable by cash, certified cheque or money order made payable to the City of North Bay.

A nomination must be signed by the candidate and may be filed in person or by any agent during regular business hours between January 4, 2010 and September 9, 2010, and between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Friday, September 10, 2010 (Nomination Day).

In the event there are an insufficient number of certified candidates to fill all positions available, nominations will be reopened for the vacant positions only on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. and such additional nominations, if required, may be filed in the office of the Clerk.

A nomination must be certified by the Clerk before such person becomes a certified candidate for the office to which she or he is nominated.

Election documents are prohibited from being filed by fax.

PLEASE NOTE: CANDIDATES CANNOT ACCEPT CONTRIBUTIONS NOR SPEND FUNDS UNTIL THEY ARE REGISTERED WITH THE CLERK.

Les mises en candidature peuvent être complétées sur les formulaires règlementaires et déposées au bureau de la greffière municipale et elles doivent être accompagnées du coût forfaitaire de 200 00 $ pour le chef du conseil et de 100 00 $ pour tous les autres postes. La taxe de dépôt est payable seulement en argent comptant, ou au moyen d'un chèque certifié ou d'un mandat postal libellé à l'ordre de la ville de North Bay.

Une mise en candidature doit être signée par le candidat et peut être déposée en personne ou par un agent pendant les heures régulières d'ouverture entre le 4 janvier 2010 et le 9 septembre 2010 et entre 9 h et 14 h le vendredi, 10 septembre 2010 (le jour des déclarations de candidatures).

Advenant qu'il y ait un nombre insuffisant de candidats accrédités pour remplir les postes disponibles, les mises en candidatures seront reprises de nouveau pour les postes vacants seulement le mercredi 15 septembre 2010 entre 9 h et 14 h. Ces mises en candidatures additionnelles peuvent être mises en dépôt, s'il y a lieu, au bureau de la greffière municipale.

Une mise en candidature doit être homologuée par la greffière avant que le candidat soit accrédité pour le poste auquel il, elle est sélectionné.

Il est interdit d'envoyer les documents d'élections par télécopieur.

VEUILLEZ NOTER: LES CANDIDATS NE PEUVENT PAS ACCEPTER DES CONTRIBUTIONS NI DÉPENSER DES FONDS AVANT D'ÊTRE ACCRÉDITÉS AUPRÈS DE LA GREFFIÈRE MUNICIPALE.
