Youth Programs

• Free Summer Youth Centre's for Youth ages 10-18 to participate in fun activities and special events throughout the Summer. THE SUMMER YOUTH CENTRES WILL BE CLOSED ON AUGUST 27, 2010.
• Youth Centres - For youth ages 10-18 drop in at one of two locations in the community, meet new friends, play a few sports, try some art or special events. Click here for more details.
• After School Programs - For youth ages 10-18, 4 sites within the city, program includes, sports, culture, homework assistance and a nutritional snack. Click here for more details. The After School program's last day of operation is June 18.
• Photovoice - Is an opportunity for youth to express themselves creatively through photographs on topics most relevant to them. Youth will participate in a 9 week workshop with a professional photographer as a mentor. They will have the opportunity to take pictures on their own time, talk about ethics of photography and plan their own gala event to showcase their work. This is a free workshop and space is limited to 10 spaces. Click here for more details.
• Youth Week - Invite's you to participate in a celebration of youth in our community. Youth Week will take place May 3 to 9 2010.
